Bob

Bob

Bob comes to us from a long history of being a white‐wolf fan and storyteller for over 20+ years. He is passionate and insightful when it comes to Vampire and its many versions. Bob is most familiar with Vampire, Werewolf and Wraith from the Classic World Of Darkness. His library is professionally extensive and finally he gets to use all of it. For a decade he captivated an audience of 113 Live Action Role‐Players for Vampire: “The Masquerade” , using the Mind’s Eye Theater rules. He has told stories for Vampire LARPs at Gen‐Con and has been observed on actual plays by Onyx‐Path. As a horror film fan his entire life, Bob has always wanted to write and create a world where he could express what he enjoys about horror. Clive Barker, Anne Rice, Stephen King. H.P. Lovecraft, Mary Shelley and many, many more are the mentors he keeps in his dark imagination. His goal is to always guide his players into the evils of self‐discovery and corrupting power…then reveal to them the horrible truth in choice. Good and evil blend and what is left is another entertained friend whom enjoyed their story. White‐Wolf’s storytelling system enables him to do that and he continues to do so for “25 years Vtm podcast”. Robert’s goal is to create an immersive experience where players can express themselves in a shared world of Darkness, in which consequences are as important as the freedom of choice. Many players on the “Curse of Cain” online game are provided a challenging but rewarding gaming experience where they are able to see a different perspective of the hobby. A perspective that often requires the player to think of themselves as the monster trying to maintain its human memory. On “25 years of Vampire the Masquerade Podcast” , Bob and his team review the very library Whitewolf/Onyx‐path/Modiphius has produced with the intent to educate and inspire others whom had thought they were “burned out” or the hobby dead. On the “ST Circle” Podcast, the team tackles questions directly from the patron community while updating gaming news and sharing current events from the online game. Many other media projects are in the works for fans of the “25 years VtM Team”.

Mike

Mike

Mike started playing tabletop role-playing games in 2008. Like so many fans of the genre, his first game was DnD, but exposure to new flavors of tabletop came as fast as he could express frustration with one mechanic or another, and his appetite proved voracious. Mike joined Curse of Caine years later, as a player, about six months after the game started, and made fast friends with fellow fans and staff members alike.

In the time since, he has stubbornly consumed every bit of World of Darkness material that even slightly caught his interest, and fought valiantly to make the knowledge useful to himself and to fellow fans. He likes to think he specializes in making complex and nuanced things simple and straightforward, but truthfully, he relishes being thought of as "Chief Sheet Mechanic", and stubbornly clings to his ideal of the sheet as a contract between the player and the storyteller. In any moment where there is dead air in a voice chat, if you listen closely, you might catch Mike singing the song of his people...

Nick

Nick

Nick started tabletop gaming over 20 years ago but discovered the World of Darkness in 2015. His primary WoD game is Vampire: The Masquerade, followed by Dark Ages: Vampire, and Werewolf: The Apocalypse. Nick has been actively roleplaying on the Curse of Caine game on the 25yrsVTM discord near daily for over 4 years. Nick has participated in the Curse of Caine game as a Player and a Storyteller. Nick's focus is on Player and Character growth. He excels at conceptualizing and portraying dynamic characters. His focus as an ST is work with players as a mentor and a peer to develop in areas of personal growth. In his free time, you can find Nick wandering in the woods or stuck to the side of a stream.

Greta

Greta

Greta has been gaming for the past 18 years. Her first game was a Vampire: The Masquerade (revised edition) LARP using Mind’s Eye Theater rules. It was a few years of LARPing before she was introduced to tabletop gaming (a V:TM game). She enjoyed not having to spend an hour (or more) getting dressed in character. Sometimes you just got to wear a t‐shirt and jeans. From V:TM came Werewolf the Apocalypse, Hunter (Project Twilight), Vampire: Dark Ages, DnD, Shadowrun, Pathfinder, Vampire: Requiem, Obsidian, and 1 Rifts game. The friends she has made along the way have been some of the best people she’s ever known. She took a bit of a break to have and raise 2 awesome kids who are now 8 and 10 and have yet to dip their toes into gaming. She joined Curse of Caine in the Spring of 2019 and has enjoyed every bit of it. Though she enjoys fantasy and science fiction, Vampire: The Masquerade always holds a place in her heart (specifically Sabbat and the Tzimisce clan). There is just something about stepping into a character that is so unlike you that is freeing.

When not gaming she enjoys RPG video games, watching movies (most genres), listening to music (everything from various metal sub‐genres to Mozart, except for country music, that’s a no go). She has taken up crochet and has been studying holistic herbalism for the last few years. She is happy to join the team and to add her own experiences and insights to 25 Years of Vampire: The Masquerade.
